Earlier this year the CDLP’s Prof Eilionóir Flynn and Dr Clíona de Bhailís delivered a six week course on Communities, Human Rights and the Law to students on the Cumas Programme. Later in the semester they worked with the students to develop three posters on different articles of the UNCRPD which the students presented at 17th International Disability Law Summer School and went onto to win the best academic poster award. The Cumas Programme is an inclusive higher education initiative at the University of Galway for students with intellectual disabilities.
