Library Access

As a graduate of the University of Galway, you are entitled to free lifetime access to the library.

To join:

  1. Provide a copy of your transcripts or conferring parchment.
  2. Complete the library card application form and upload your documents.
  3. Submit the form to the library.

A library staff member will contact you when your card is ready for collection.

Recent graduates (within three years of graduation) can access Careers Connect to explore tailored job opportunities from leading employers across all sectors.

Opportunities include:

Exam Transcripts

To order transcripts, contact the Student Registry Helpdesk .

Processing times:

  • Standard transcripts: 10 working days
  • Archive transcripts (pre-1986): up to 5 weeks

University of Galway Affinity Card

With the Affinity Credit Card from Bank of Ireland, you can enjoy all the benefits of a credit card while Bank of Ireland makes a donation to the University of Galway. They will also contribute a percentage of your annual expenditure at no additional cost to you.
