On 12th November, ten students from the LLM in International and Comparative Business Law from University of Galway went on a field trip to Dublin, accompanied by Dr Maria O’Brien, Lecturer in Taxation, and Dr Csongor Nagy, LLM (International and Comparative Business Law) Programme Director. The group was welcomed to William Fry Solicitors, A&L Goodbody Solicitors, and PwC, where they heard about the varied work carried out by these firms and the different internship and graduate training programs they offer. The students met with senior partners, trainees and newly qualified staff at all of the firms, hearing about the varied backgrounds of people working in law, business and taxation, and the interesting work opportunities available to them.

The students on the LLM represent the diversity of University of Galway, including students from Spain, France, India, Indonesia, and Galway.
