The School of Education was represented by Prof. Tony Hall at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Conference 2026, Los Angeles, 6th-13th April: Unforgetting Histories and Imagining Futures: Constructing a New Vision for Education Research.

Tony convened the invited 50th anniversary Educational Studies Association of Ireland (ESAI) symposium at AERA 2026, “Envisioning Creative and Inclusive Educational Futures: Perspectives from the Educational Studies Association of Ireland (ESAI) in its Fiftieth Year”.
Tony presented a paper as part of the ESAI symposium, "Designing Futures: Envisioning and Embedding 21st Century Education through Transformative Innovation in Learning, Teaching and Assessment". He also contributed a position paper, "Educational Studies Association of Ireland: Reflecting on Ireland’s first half-century of educational scholarship and teaching-inspired research" to the World Education Research Association (WERA) invited panel discussion and represented Ireland/ESAI at the WERA Council Meeting at AERA 2026.
