Anna Hildur Hildibrandsdóttir presented her PhD research from the University of Galway at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, University of Pavia.
Her talk, Cartographies of Cultural Mapping within Innovation Geography, examined how cultural infrastructure shapes innovation in rural regions and explored how digital platforms might activate place-based cultural assets.
The Winter School in Innovation Geography featured leading scholars in innovation and regional development, sparking rich discussions on digital transformation, resilience, and structural change.
