Students from the Irish Centre for Human Rights, LLM, PhD programmes, and BCL Law and Human Rights programme, participated in the 61^st  session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, observing interactive dialogues with states, civil society, United Nations entities and participating in side-events at the Council. This important opportunity provided students with first-hand experience of the practice of international human rights and humanitarian law in a global setting, building on the core elements of human rights and advocacy skills training in the Irish Centre for Human Rights.
