Dr. Henry Hutchinson Stewart Medical Scholarships and Prizes
University of Galway’s School of Nursing, Midwifery & Evidence Science has had a remarkable record of success in the Dr. Henry Hutchinson Stewart Medical Scholarships and Prizes. Since 2007, our students have been awarded prizes each year, including nine first place prizes.
The Dr. Henry Hutchinson Stewart Medical Scholarships and Prizes are offered in a range of subject areas across Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery & Evidence Science, Allied & Community Health, and Pharmacy & Medical Sciences for undergraduate students. These awards are based on students’ final examination results in the Faculties and Schools of Medicine and Nursing of the NUI Universities, the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and St Angela’s College, Sligo.
