Our Purpose

To build a highly engaged and thriving Research community enabled to deliver the vision and strategic goals for Research.

Phase 1
May 2024 - August 2024

To gain qualitative and quantitative insight into the end-to-end Research lifecycle and value proposition at Galway to inform and set-up a change programme and strategy which improves the research journey and experience

Phase 2
September 2024 - May 2025

Building on Phase 1, Phase 2 activities comprise the following:

  • Research related strategic outcomes integrated into the current Strategic Plan process
  • 'Quick Wins' identified and agreed
  • Workstreams and Action Group established to deliver 'Quick Wins'
  • Build Business Case and RFP Process for Phase 3 including delivery of Major Projects identified under Phase 1 to be considered in the context of the new Strategic Plan
  • Communications Plan to feedback to and engage with internal stakeholder community and committees
