To pay fees EU Students:

• To pay fees online please access the student payment gateway here.
• EU students can pay fees in two instalments. 50% on or before 31st October and 50% on or before 31st January
• 1st year international students can pay fees in two instalments. 50% prior to registration and 50% on or before 31st January
• The “pay fees” link appears at the top right hand side of the “courses” tab

To pay fees International Students:  

• In compliance with University policy and immigration control, international student fees may be paid in full prior to registration or 50% prior to registration and 50% on or before 31st January. Depending on visa requirements, students may need to pay €6,000 or 50% of fees due as part of the visa application. Please ensure you have this payment made in advance of the start of the academic year.
• International undergraduate medical students must pay their fees in accordance with the condition pertaining to their route of entry.
• International students are strongly advised to pay their tuition through TransferMate. TransferMate should be used for the duration of your studies at University of Galway.

Late Fee Appeal

To make an appeal to have a late fee charge reviewed please complete the following form.  Applications are reviewed at the end of each month and decisions emailed before the 15th of the following month.
