Fees
International Summer School Fee Payment
Full tuition fees are payable upon acceptance of a course offer for the Irish Studies, Ecology and Business Summer Schools.
All summer school payments must be received by this University by 30th May 2027.
Payments must be made by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) using the Summer School bank account details below.
Important: This bank account is for Summer School payments only. Please do not use this account for other University of Galway tuition or student fees.

Payment instructions:
- All payments must be made in Euros (€)
- Please include your full name as the payment reference on all bank transfers.
- If a third party is making the payment on your behalf, please ensure the student's full name is included as the payment reference.
- Please email a copy of your electronic payment confirmation to summerschool@universityofgalway.ie to help us track your payment.
IMPORTANT: The Summer School bank account should only be used for Summer School payments . For all other University of Galway tuition fees (certificate, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate fees payments) Please us the University's designated student fee payment facility https://www.universityofgalway.ie/student-fees/pay-fees/ Using an incorrect bank account (e.g. ending 3773) will result in significant delays matching your payment to your student record.
Tuition Cancellation and Refund Policy
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Tuition Fees:
- Cancellation between 30 March, 2027 and 30 May, 2027: €500 applies.
- Cancellation after 30 May, 2027: The full tuition fee is payable.
For course start dates, please refer to individual course pages.
Accommodation:
Campus Living cancellation and refunds
- Cancellation after 30th April but before 15th May 2027 - 60% accommodation fee is payable.
- Cancellation after 30th May 2027 - full accommodation fee is payable.
All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email) to both summerschool@universityofgalway.ie and conference@universityofgalway.ie.
For applications made through a University partner, cancellation should be notified in writing by the partner. For independent applications, the student should provide the written notification.
Cancellation will take effect from the date on which the Summer School Office (tuition) and Conference (accommodation) receives written notification.
