- TFI Local Link Bus - This service connect communities throughout rural Ireland as part of the TFI Public Transport Network. They form a network of affordable bus services for everyone who wants to travel to travel to or from local towns and villages. Dining
The Academy has a small kitchenette with fridge and microwave for students to self cater on campus. Letterkenny University Hospital has a canteen and a coffee shop.
Letterkenny University Hospital has a coffee shop and a large restaurant serving excellent quality meals which are generously subsidised for staff and students.
Burrito Loco is located on Port Road in Letterkenny in Co. Donegal. This delightful Mexican serves a wide range of Mexican dishes such as Burritos, Crispy Tacos, Loaded Nachos and Salad box etc. You can order your takeaway food online on Just-Eat.ie!
The Quiet Moment Tearooms have plenty of charming features with granite tables and mahogany surroundings which were created with a Bewley's atmosphere in mind. Serving fresh food daily the way you want, customers can enjoy Homemade Products, Irish Breakfasts, Sandwiches, Light Refreshments, Soup or something more substantial like our Hot Food Specials. Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny offers excellent facilities for health and fitness, including a 25m pool, gym, exercise classes, running track, astro pitch, hydro pool and soccer pitch.

Jigsaw Donegal provides a free and confidential support service for young people aged 15 – 25 with mental health issues, with a drop-in centre on Pearse Road in Letterkenny. Jigsaw aims to make sure that young people get the right support, where and when they need it. Jigsaw Donegal is a partnership between Headstrong, HSE and The Alcohol Forum.

Research Opportunities
Letterkenny University hospital offers Donegal Medical Academy students the opportunity to apply for a Summer Research Bursary and present their project at the annual LUH Research Day. Please contact our Academy Administrator for further details.
